UT Martin Advisory Board hears university overview at winter meeting

An economic forecast, a preview of the current Tennessee legislative session, a Title IX update and a UT Martin update from Chancellor Keith Carver were presented during the winter meeting of the University of Tennessee at Martin Advisory Board held Friday, Jan. 21, in the Boling University Center.

The University of Tennessee at Martin will name the road leading to the Veterinary Technology Center “Walker Lane” in honor of the Walker family, who has donated more than $29,000 to UT Martin and is strongly connected to the main campus.

University road to be named after Dr. Jerry D. Gresham

The University of Tennessee at Martin will name Farm Road, which connects University Street to Hyndsver-Gardner Road, Jerry D. Gresham Road in memory of Dr. Jerry D. Gresham, professor emeritus of animal science.

UT Martin spring semester classes set to begin Jan. 13

The University of Tennessee at Martin will begin spring classes fully in person Thursday, Jan. 13, at the main campus and the university’s five regional centers in Jackson, Parsons, Ripley, Selmer and Somerville.
